Made because my dog's contact info kept going missing.

I started making collars because the one my dog was wearing kept letting us down.

It was a nylon collar. It started to smell, it got dirty fast, and after he'd been swimming in it, it started to grow mildew. Not what you want sitting around your dog's neck every day.

The tags that never came back

My dog and I love to go mountain biking together. He runs through the woods, and more than once he came back with his tags gone, fallen off or caught on a branch somewhere behind us.

That got me thinking. If he ever did get lost out there, there'd be no way for whoever found him to reach me.

So I made a better collar

I picked a material without those downsides: full-grain buffalo hide, a dense, tough leather that holds its colour and gets better with wear. Then I solved the tag problem by laser engraving your dog's name and your phone number right into the leather. There's nothing to jingle, snag or fall off. His contact details stay with him.

Every collar is cut, riveted and finished by hand in Canada.

Our lifetime warranty

Every product is covered for life against broken buckles or hardware, rivets or stitching that come apart, and structural issues with the leather under normal use. If something fails, send us a photo and we will repair or replace it. Chewing and discolouration from sun, water, oils or natural wear are not covered.
